We at EJ's Custom Home Builders, Inc. would like to introduce you to our business and founder.  EJ's Custom Home Builders, Inc. was founded by Ed Jordan.  Ed moved to Lake County in 1995 after retiring from the United States Army as a First Sergeant, with over twenty-six years of service.   He resides at 213 Hunters Dawn, La Vernia, TX.  After working with a local general contractor for eighteen months, he determined that our community needed a general contractor who builds quality custom homes and residential structures on time, within budget and with integrity.  EJ's Custom Home Builders, Inc. was established in the early spring 1997 and was incorporated in the fall 2001.

Presently, we build two to three custom homes a year along with some remodeling.  In this way, we are able to devote the time needed to each project and Ed can give his full personal attention to each project as well, providing quality, on time, construction.  On average, it takes nine months to complete a home from excavation to completion.

We specialize in quality custom homes, frame or log, from dry-in to completion, remodels, additions and specialize in custom cabinets and countertops.  We bid and build as per plans only.  We also develop land and property into a build-able site to include all the infrastructure that is necessary.  We design and create a build-able set of plans (blue prints), from start to finish that are acceptable by engineered staff and acquire any engineer stamps necessary to ensure you are ready for construction.  Our experience in working with home owners throughout the planning phase, through construction to completion allows us the opportunity to assist you with advice and suggestions on the ongoing decisions that can make the building process smoother for all.  We enjoy the opportunity to work closely with our clients very much.  We are proud of our track record with our customers and keep a list of references that are available upon request.
